This supplement uses some ingredients that other workouts supplements don’t utilize.
A lot of people use products to help them with gains at the gym. This could range from special diet products, to protein power, to supplements. Muscletronic definitely fits into this category.
We’ve been hearing quite a bit about this product online, and were obviously curious to see what it was all about. Muscle-gain products are becoming more and more popular as people seek to better their health and fitness, and turning fat into muscle is like the fountain of youth when you’re trying to get into shape.
But will Muscletronic work?
Here’s what we found out.
What is it?
Muscletronic is, according to the product website, “a performance supplement unlike anything else, designed to help you build muscle, burn fat and stay on point mentally.”
This product seems to focus a lot on the mental aspects of working out. In one paragraph, the website talks about how it feels when you try to go to the gym, but suffer from a lack of drive, focus, and motivation. So, in a sense, it seems almost specifically formulated to help boost these mental areas as well.
Another label says this about the product.
“Muscletronic. Melding mind and muscle for maximum performance.”
What is it supposed to do?
There’s a pretty long list of things that this supplement is designed to do. Here’s a quick bullet-point breakdown.
It’s supposed to…
- Enhance energy flow and physical strength
- Improve drive, focus, and cognitive function
- Build lean muscle
- Help you to burn more fat
- Improve your mood
- Eliminate stress
- Expand your physical capabilities
- Help anyone of any fitness level
- Act as a quality performance supplement
These might seem like rather common aspirations – and they are. A lot of newer performance supplements are claiming to be able to do these things. I will say, however, that Muscletronic seems to go a bit above and beyond in terms of the psychology of building a leaner, more toned body.
This supplement really seems to be geared to help your mind as well as your muscle.
Does it work?
At first, I’ll admit that I was a bit skeptical about this product. Their Facebook page was just created in 2015, which means that they haven’t been around for a very long time. I also had a really hard time finding any customer reviews on them at all. There were plenty of review-sites claiming that the product works well, but this always seems to be the case with new supplements like this.
So I did a bit more digging.
One of the best things to go on was the ingredient list. I was surprised to see that the components for this product were quite a bit different than those I’ve seen in other products – and what I found as I began looking into them was quite positive.
Here’s what I found.
Complete list of ingredients
The ingredient list for this product struck me as unorthodox – but effective nonetheless. Here’s a breakdown of all of the main ingredients and why they seemed to be included.
This ingredient is said to increase levels of acetylcholine in the brain. Acetylcholine is a chemical messenger that helps to control muscle contractions. By boosting this neurotransmitter, you’re supposed to be able to achieve stronger muscle contractions during workouts – which translates to more strength, power, and lean muscle.
Some clinical trials have also shown that Alpha-GPC can increase growth hormone levels.
- Vitamin B Complex
B Vitamins are actually a standard ingredient in many different muscle-building supplements. In general, these vitamins help to support metabolism and convert fat, carbs, and protein into energy.
- Alpha Lipoic Acid
This ingredient helps to increase the effectiveness of vitamins C and E. It also helps your muscles to absorb more glucose from your diet. To put it simply, it reduces the amount of fat that your body can store, and makes it easier to gain more lean muscle mass instead.
- Forskolin Extract
This ingredient basically reduces the amount of fat that your cells can hold, while at the same time increasing the production of muscle-building hormones within the body. It also helps your muscles to recover faster after workouts, and helps to improve protein synthesis.
This ingredient also works very well when stacked with caffeine, because the two tend to give you better fat burning results together than you would get taking either by itself.
- Golden Root
This herb has been used for years for medicinal purposes – but it has also been shown to provide the body with amazing benefits in the form of a depression, anxiety, and stress reliever. It also helps to reduce fatigue and give you more energy – which is awesome.
Its main function in this supplement, however, seems to be mood-enhancement.
This is perhaps one of the most common ingredients in weight-loss and body-building supplements. Everyone knows that caffeine helps to increase the body’s fat-burning power. It’s a stimulant, a cognitive enhancer, and one of the most proven ingredients ever to be studied in clinical trials. It helps to spark increased thermogenesis, and also causes lipolysis – which helps to speed up the breakdown of fat cells.
This ingredient creates a similar effect as caffeine, except that it also tends to smooth out the nervous ‘edge’ that caffeine can create within the brain.
- Citrus Aurantium Extract
This stimulant helps to work together with caffeine to activate the adrenaline and noradrenaline systems. In essence, this helps you to burn fat faster. It’s similar to ephedrine in structure, but poses none of the negative side effects. It’s both safe and effective as a fat burner.
This ingredient is actually black pepper extract. Surprisingly, it’s a pretty common ingredient in products like this, because it helps to increase the body’s absorption rate for other nutrients.
What does this mean?
To summarize all of this information, it’s important to keep in mind that this supplement seems to have been designed for three basic things.
- To get you better gains at the gym
- To help you burn fat
- To help your state of mind and increase your drive and focus
With that being said, I certainly felt like the ingredient list showed a lot of promise – especially in the area of mental focus and drive. But the functional parts of your workout will also doubtlessly be affected by Muscletronic, due to the many proven fat-burning and muscle-building ingredients within it.
To put it simply, a solid overview of the ingredient list made me feel a lot better about whether I would give this product a try or not.
About the company
According to information found online, Muscletronic was developed by a company called Ergo Group.
They’re basically an investment company based out of Dubai that invests in the fields of health, wellness, energy, and technology.
I guess it could be a good thing that a fairly large company is behind the development. Hopefully this will mean better quality and support when it comes to the supplement use as such.
As far as their refund policy is concerned, every bottle of Muscletronic comes with a 60 day money back guarantee, which means you can return it within 60 days for any reason if it ends up not working for you.
I was pretty impressed with this return policy, because I’ve always liked the idea of a money-back guarantee on supplement products. And 60 days is much, much better than 30 – so kudos to Muscletronic for making returns as easy as possible!
Online user feedback
We had a super-hard time finding any kind of online user feedback – probably because this product is still very new. Hopefully, in the coming months, we’ll get to hear more customer stories about it.
Have users reported any side effects?
As far as I can tell, no side effects have thus-far been reported. One review that I read by a supplement tester who seemed to be pretty down on the ingredient list said that the mixture of caffeine and Citrus Aurantium could induce side effects like headaches, nausea, and high blood pressure.
This particular reviewer claims that such symptoms have even been reported in the absence of synephrine but that’s about it.
Has this brand been reported to scam sites?
I’ve done quite a bit of research, but I have yet to find any scam complaints regarding this company or their product. By all accounts, Muscletronic seems to be a legitimate business that offers a legitimate product.

GoOkayed Verdict and where to buy
There are doubtlessly some things about this supplement that were difficult to get past. The lack of customer reviews and the seeming lack of any sort of clinical trial or test study were probably the biggest problems.
There were also some reviewers who disliked the general formulation of the product – though, to be quite honest, we were actually pretty impressed with the lineup of ingredients.
Granted, this product is new and untested – but we still believe that it deserves our GoOkayed Stamp of approval, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a new workout supplement. The formulation seems pretty strong to us – enough so that it’s worth a try.
